This week, we’re sending paid subscribers a bonus episode in which we discuss some of our thoughts about the comments section writ large post-election. We talk about what this moment means for feminism today, what discourse we’re wary of right now, and how gender showed up in the election.
After recording, we realized we didn’t discuss the overall low turnout or the women who voted to retain state abortion rights while voting for this GOP president— which is just yet another reminder that no conversation right now can hold it all. We also know that we are still getting numbers when it comes to turnout and demographics.
Still, we hope this discussion of the national comments section, if you will, brings some clarity, or gives you space for some of your righteous rage.
